I heard this song the year prior and thought, hey this would be great for a pole piece. Then came the months leading up to it. Choreography, practice, practice, practice. Not just choreography but working the months before and whole year to get... 1. the bird of paradise move. 2. the spatchcock move. 3. Figuring out how to combine the two. Learning I had to learn spatchcock on my non dominant side to do the combo.

I also had some fun with my sewing machine by creating this costume from scratch and playing with the makeup looks.

 

I performed this piece 4 times at two studio Halloween showcases. I'm very proud of this piece and the hurdles I conquered to accomplish the combos.
